 The objectives of studying sociological theory in this course are to ;  

-         Provide a logical explanation of how society functions, and why.

-         looking for broader notions that can explain many facts in society, which can pertain to one society or to many different societies

-        ask questions about the nature of social order or about the kinds of processes that influence social change.
