Module Description:

English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is known as a learner-centered approach to teaching English as a foreign language. It meets the needs of learners who need to learn a foreign language for use in their specific fields.

Teaching English for specific purposes familiarizing students with the sociology major while covering different topics such as social sciences, philosophy, anthropology, psychology, speech therapy, culture, history, demography...etc.

Objectives:

  • Raising awareness of learning the English language.
  • Acquaint students with the keywords of sociology.
  • Help students write an effective abstract in their dissertation.
